Sarah: Welcome to the Healing Uncensored podcast. My name is Sarah Small, and I’m a health and mindset coach for women with autoimmune disease just like you. I absolutely love helping you tap into your self-healing power, uncover the energetic side of healing, and release limiting beliefs around your body and your life. Think of this podcast as everything you wouldn’t hear at your doctor’s office. It’s a place for empowered souls to move beyond food and heal themselves on a soul level. I hope you enjoy today’s episode. Now let’s begin.

Welcome to this meditation for letting go of what no longer serves you, the things that you no longer need to carry, or may be holding you back. So I’ll just ask you to take a comfortable seat or lie down and start to fidget all the fidgets out of your body, letting go of some of that tendency to keep moving around or wiggle your fingers or toes and just get all that movement out of the way right here, right now.

With your eyes closed, just to start to turn that internal gaze up and in towards your third eye center, looking up internally to the space between your eyebrows, your third eye chakra, and starting to feel heavy through your seat, through your arms, through your shoulders. Let your shoulders slide down from your ears. The muscles in your legs, your thighs, your calves. Just begin to relax and then just start to tune into your belly. Notice how it feels today, but also begin to feel this movement of energy in your body. As you breathe in through your nose, feel your chest rise, your belly start to expand. And as you exhale, feel your chest fall down, your belly contract. Big, deep breaths using the capacity of your lugs. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, letting go of some of the stale air, but also still thoughts from your day.

With each inhale, I want you to start to breathe in something you crave, something you desire, something you want more of in your life, breathing in, letting that envelop your body starting to fill your bones. In each exhale, I want you to breathe out that which no longer serves you, the things that feel yucky, that might be holding you back. It might be causing you more pain or more stress than good, or maybe you’re compromising your personal or energetic boundaries. And just take a few breaths like this with this visualization in your eyes, breathe in and out. Start to feel as you deepen this breath the body becomes more in alignment. You start to settle back into your physical body instead of trying to race ahead to the next thing in your life and just be here now.

Now I’d like you to visualize a box. Your box can be any color, any design. You can bedazzle your box. You can add a collage to your box. Maybe some stripes or some glitter to your box. Any shape, any size, but put that box in your mind’s eye at about eye level out in front of you, a few feet in front of you. And as you visualize that box out in front of you, I want you to make sure that it’s open, ready to receive items into this box. And then I want you to scan your body. Want you to notice if you’re holding on to any tension in the right or left shoulders or sides in general. For example, if you’re holding on to tension in your left shoulder, I want you to feel that tension lifting out of your body and putting it into the box. Pulling it out of your body, out of your physical body, mental body, energetic body, spiritual body, auric body, and putting it into this box in front of you. Starting to scan the body for any of that physical pain that you may want to put into the box. But then also looking inward to feel any sort of emotions that feel stuck, stagnant, or that are no longer serving you. Things like stress, anger, frustration, overwhelm, the to-do lists, the ‘I-shoulds’. Put those into the box. Any thoughts, emotions, pain, physical sensations that don’t feel good. Anything that doesn’t feel good, put it into that box.

Then start to consider any of the actions or habits in your life that are also not serving you. Maybe these patterns that you’ve developed, the way you wake up in the morning, the first things you begin to do. Consider whether those serve you or not, and any parts of your day, any part of your routine or anything on its own that is no longer serving you, put that in the box as well. Just start to visualize that thing coming off of your body and being put into the box. This box can hold as many things as it needs.

As you start to fill your box with all the things that no longer serve you, that may be causing you more bad than good, more stress than calm, more tension than relaxation, more worry than peace, more lack than abundance, put all of these things into your box. Once you’ve started to pull all of these things out of all of your energy bodies, just scan one more time, make sure you got it all. And then I want you to close the box, lock it up and just start to see how your body feels right away. Closing that box, starting to release some of the things that we really just don’t need, we really can just let go of.

What I want you to visualize that box that’s closed and locked tight, starting to light a fire under this box, and as the box begins to catch flame, catch fire, begins to heat up and each part of the box and everything inside begins to disintegrate in the flame, and as all of these things are beginning to burn up and disintegrate, that energy is not destroyed. It does not disappear. That energy is recycled. It’s renewed and recycled and recreated. And I want you to set an intention right here right now, as that box burns, that flame burns in front of you. That this recycled energy be used for something productive, that serves you or that is healing for your mind, body, or spirit. Set that intention for yourself and for this energy right now, asking it, calling it in. I ask for this energy to be recycled into something beautiful for me in my life. And as the rest of that box just begins to float away as ashes, the ashes begin to sparkle. They begin to glitter and you can see that this energy is not destroyed, but rather it’s renewed. It’s repurposed into something that can serve you.

And I want you to see all of the glitter that the ash turns into coming back into your body. Let it enter through your heart and the crown of your head, soaking all of this in like magic fairy dust and letting it warm your body, letting it renew your body and letting it bring new inspiration, ideas, creativity, refocus or clarity, insight into your illness or what you’re going through right now in your life. And as it reenters, invite it in, give it a home and let this feeling stay with you. Let it renew your mind, body spirit. Take this feeling with you for the rest of your day. Namaste!
