The thing is motherhood is inherently dysregulating (hello… crying, middle of the night wake ups, cranky toddlers, teething babies, and refusing to wear anything but a princess dress). Instagram may have you feeling like motherhood is supposed to be baking sourdough bread and picking fresh strawberries from the garden (which sounds lovely), but the constant exhaustion, immense mental load, and overstimulation is currently the norm for you.
I'm guessing your body is ready to lean back into a greater sense of stability, presence, and joy.

To receive the most out of the experience, you need to understand how your nervous system works. You will receive access to a library of short, digestable lessons on poly vagal theory and the in's and out's of your mother nervous system. This will inform the rest of the work we do and make it much more applicable to life.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a powerful listening therapy designed to help regulate the nervous system, so you can better connect with yourself, your children, and the world around you. Through 5- hours of specially filtered music, the SSP sends cues of safety to your nervous system, building the foundation for awareness, embodiment, and resilience.
We will open up a 1:1 channel inside of Voxer (audio & texting app) so that I can support you as you move through the SSP and as things surface that require some integration. This is an opportunity to co-regulate as well as ask questions and receive somatic coaching.
You will receive a guidebook that includes self regulating tools as well as access to my somatic practices library that includes short, guided experiences for you to become more in touch with your felt-sense experience and release (potentially years of) stress. This compliments the SSP & coaching we'll do together beautifully.

This is where we deliver the psychoeducation to support your lived experience. It helps immensely to understand at least the surface of poly vagal theory in order to track your body's stress response and embody the healing.

A resource library for you to a) build more self regulating tools and b) access your felt-sense experience through somatic practices. These will be especially supportive as you go through the SSP audio and want additional support.

This isn't really a module, but the container in which you'll be held and guided through the entire experience. You will be able to co-regulate to me as a safe and trauma-informed guide and get coaching throughout our time together.
Once we evaluate your baseline, I'll recommend a custom audio program for you that includes 3 different choices of music style. You'll listen at your own convenience.
Think, feel, and connect better through nervous system regulation.
After you've completed the lessons on how your nervous system works, you'll start your daily listening for 5-20 minutes a day. This is also where I'll support you with regulating tools.
You can expect improved response to stress and better emotional resilience. Then, once your 5 hours are complete there's an option to continue to tune your vagus nerve on an ongoing basis.
